New Moons mark a shift in life. It is important to be aware if your birthday falls on the day before, the day of, or the day after a new moon. This lunar cycle advises that some form of change may take place usually within the new moon cycle which is six months before to six months after the actual new moon. The new moons for 2014 are:
January 1, January 30, March 1, March 30, April 29 (solar eclipse), May 28, June 27,
July 26, August 25, September 24, October 23 (solar eclipse), November 22, December 21.
Full Moons also mark in shift in life. It is also important to be aware if your birthday falls on the day before, the day of, or the day after a full moon. This lunar cycle advises that a domestic change or changes within the family may occur during the full moon cycle which is six months before to six months after the actual full moon. The full moons for 2014 are:
January 15, February 14, March 16, April 15 (lunar eclipse), May 14, June 12, July 12, August 10, September 8, October 8 (lunar eclipse), November 6, December 6.
Cardinal Signs: (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn)
These signs are still under the influence of Uranus, the planet of change and excitement, and Pluto, the planet of fate and transformation. The lesson is to go with changes and welcome the next chapters in your life.
Fixed Signs: (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius)
These signs are still affected by transiting Saturn, the planet of discipline and career responsibilities. The lesson is to take care of your health, stay focused and work hard in your desired career.
Mutual Signs: (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces)
These signs are affected by Neptune, the planet of surrender and redemption. The lesson is to develop a spiritual practice that leads to more faith in the universe. This is also good to forgive others and to believe in your dreams.
Retrograde Planets
Mercury, the planet of communication and travel, retrogrades three times a year for approximately three weeks. Possible travel delays, miscommunication, computer or car issues are common during these periods. (February 6 – February 28, June 7 – July 1, October 4 – October 25.)
Venus, the planet of love and money, retrogrades once very couple of years for approximately six weeks. Possible financial flux or a past relationship may resurface. It is not a good time to make a large purchase or start a new romance during this period. (December 21, 2013 – January 31, 2014.)
Mars, the planet of energy and physical expression, retrogrades once every couple of years for approximately three months. This is a time to reclaim your health, respect the boundaries of your body, and to tame a bad temper and express anger constructively. (March 1 – May 20.)
